The MTH stuff is really sophisticated !  More than just Bells and Whistles, I've heard that "knuckle draggers" could have difficulty with them.  I mean there is about 20 buttons compared to 12 on the other stuff.  (I know the count isn't exact, didn't want to embarrass.)

I have one that is such A GREAT RUNNER you wouldn't believe!!!!  Its a little SP Daylight.  And it has the personality of a realllllly big engine!!!  Makes a lot of the others sound like they have larengitis.

I highly recommend the MTH Nickel Plate Road Berkshire. Mine has the most realistic chuffing sound, in my opinion anyway, for an MTH locomotive. It has Protosounds 2.

Give me steam locomotives or give me DEATH!

Berkshire Junction, bringing fourth the cry of the Iron Horse since 1900.
