 Anyone have a wiring diagram for this item. I restored the crane,but it didn't have a conroller. I got a controller and a schetch from a person at york,but it dosen't work. Can anyone help. BigC.

Look under 282 for gantry crane.This has an electical diagram the others just have part lists. I think this is what you are looking for.

This is one accessory where Olson's Library falls short.  They only have a sketchy parts list, without pictures.

You need to install 6-wire cable.

This is from Lionel Accessories at Work on Toy Train Layouts.  Wire located on the crane base is numbered top to bottom, starting at 6 to 1.

I installed my 182 Crane with off the shelf DPDT switches for cab and boom operation, and SPST push button switch for the magnet.  Let me know which you would like.
