Train show 8 cars for $39
Posted by Boyd on Saturday, November 22, 2008 3:01 PM

Sometimes fun can be cheap.

3 Lionel 9013 red hoppers, 1 needing an axle. I have 7 of them now.

1 Lionel green Republic steel hopper needing 1 axle

1 Lionel Rio Grande gondola

1 Lionel Rio Grande 027 box car

1 Atlas 4 wheel caboose to go behind my K-line Porter

1 Pola Maxi gondola

This was the show at Century College in White Bear Lake  Minnesota. Looks like a lot of stuff  did not sell as there was a lot there when I left about 1:40

Great buys. I would love to find a 4 wheel caboose.

Hi Doug (Murphy)

Lionel fan that I am, I will still give MTH High marks for their Bobber Cabeese, if you are looking for a Bobber Caboose, MTH has an incredible selection of them, not cheap mind you($39.95- 44.95 MSRP) but Very Nice. If you go to MTH's web site and go to product locator search for Bobber Caboose, it is a very long list of road names available. The other advantage that MTH has is their web site can also give you a list of dealers that show an item in stock.

Another MTH bobber fan here! My PRR version makes me smile when I look at it.
