Finally did it!

After an hour of hard work fitting the couplers to a new Proto2000 H0 GP7 diesel, I decided I need some toy trains to relax withSmile [:)]

I have been wanting for  O-gauge toytrains for a long time, but now I have taken the plunge. I decided to start with an MTH startset as that will give me sound that works with our 50 Hz mains supply. If I like the Toytrain world, I will get a sine wave 60hz inverter and Lionel locos.

Shipping on a startset to Sweden is expensive Sad [:(] but now it is ordered and I'm waiting.

BTW, the 2-8-0 in the MTH startset has a dummy front coupler. Is there a way to mount a working coupler ?

(It seems that I like to mount couplers after allSign - Oops [#oops])

Sign - Welcome [#welcome]

To the O gauge world of trains, we have a lot to choose from now a days Lionel, Mth, Weaver, Williams(by Bachmann), AtlasO and there are the Euro makers ETS and ACE as well.

If you have alot invested in ho track you may also want to try 0n30 (Narrow gauge O that runs on ho track)
