New smoke pellet smell the same?

I was wondering if the new smoke PILLS have the same aroma as the old ones I remember as a kid. I can't stand the smell of fluid. I know they have different fragrances but my question is (so we don't get off topic) are the new pills comparable to the old ones. I don't really care so much about smoke output.

Yes, they do have that wonderful aroma, especially mixed in with a little ozone. The pills that I have were purchased from Toy Trains unlimited, so it seems like they are right on target in regards to the original formula.

 I never did care for the smell of smoke fluid either.

Trainz.com now produces these pellets. They acquired Toy Trains Unlimited a little while back. I don't know if they actually produce them or just purchased the company and production remained the same. I haven't tried a bottle from them yet but will soon.
