The best Layout Videos
Posted by dsmith on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 9:37 AM

I have looked at a lot of the O gauge train videos on YouTube and the following is the most facinating set of 8 videos I have seen so far.  They have it all ... great layout design, incredible attention to large and small scenic details, facinating motive power and freight, good camera work, and appropriate background train tunes.  His scenic details have given me many new ideas that I have not seen anywhere else.  What an inspiration...take a look...

I agree.  One of my favorite layouts to date.  The on-board camera work is great.  His videos prompted me to try it.  I'm waiting for him to show what the camera sees inside that Indian Motorcycle building!  Maybe a furnace:)

The use of railsounds is great too.  Ray is a really nice guy.  He has answered anything I have thrown at him.

I'm glad you guys like my videos

A couple of weeks ago a friend sent one to me of his layout and it was so neat I thought I would give it a try.

It's really not that difficult and I think the results seem to be pretty good for an amateur.

Fantastic!  I just wish Youtube would allow higher quality video.  Ray has done a masterful job with his layout and I like how the videos show off his layout. Bow [bow]

Thank you for sharing.

Very nice...Stunning actually.  Just saw "Never Marry a Railroad man" which is new as of 5 hours ago apparently so check back to Ray's Youtube site to see it if you haven't already.  Ray, sure wish I had the time to play with trains like you do...Thanks for sharing!
