Battery operated "O" Guage trains

Has anyone noticed some of the "battery operated trains sold at the dollar store and iamily dollar are "O" gauge? or Am I the only one the same goes for the "fast lane"/goldock trains at toys r us.. even though most of them are modeled after german/asian trains.

I have a few b.o. sets that come with plastic track that happens to be the same width as O Gauge and they are North American style trains. Will have to check those you mentioned out. Ertle produce an S gauge B.O. set a few years back.
