1952 Lionel UP 2030 passenger set
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 14, 2007 5:12 AM

I have a Lionell I think 1952 vintage paassenger set U.P. 2030 with transformer, crossing light, station, two remote electric switches, track original, old original light tower, etc. The set was my Christmas morning present in early 50's. Presently the set is in running order and the original transformer works also including horn operation etc.. The twin diesels are silver with passengear cars named and with serial numbers. The cars include rounded nose end car (cabose), observation car also I think maybe ( maybe not trying to write from memory). The set is packed away in safe environment.

About a year or so ago I saw my identical twin diesels only wind up selling on Ebay for $650 bucks. So my question is for the above set what would be an approximate market selling value now? Also what would the switches, train depot, light tower, track etc go for as market value?

Thanks

Market price is based on the condition of the items and what someone is willing to pay for them.
