1043-500 transformer

  Upon reorganizing some parts I came across a shell to a 1043, it was painted white. When I origonally got it I assumed it was homemade. I am looking at it and it has the gold handle and wire posts. It is unpainted black on the inside with some overspray in there. I am wondering if this is infact an origonal, in which case I would complete the unit.
