The RS in the image is on a 1950 736. Should be silver...Lettering style is correct but the color has me perplexed. Looks closer to white than silver. I'd appreciate any opinions! Thx.

A 1950 736 Berk? Are you referring to the Lionel 736 Berkshire locomotive?
If so, you should be asking on the "Classic TOY Trains" Forum.
(Don't be embarassed, you're not the first to make the mistake if that's the case and won't be the last, trust me!)
