For several weeks now when I visit the NG&SLG site and pull up what should be the latest issue page I get the Jan/Feb 2017 displayed. Anyone know what goes? I've tried their own site as well as the Railserve and NMRA sites to no avail.
Maybe it's related to the changeover to White River Publications ownership? Oddly, the WRP website has a link to www.ngslgazette.com which does as you say still show the Jan-Feb 2017 issue as the latest one. However WPB's website does also show more recent back issues in their bookstore.

Maybe the old NGSL website - or at least that first page - has been 'abandoned' but they haven't started a new one as part of the WRP website yet?
I haven't found any information on the WRP site regarding their purchase of the NG&SLG. I only see three back issues of the Gazette featured in their store. I assume news of the event will be posted soon.
IIRC news of the change was in all the hobby magazines back in late 2016 when it happened. Last issue put out by Benchmark was the Jan-Feb 2017 one (which included Bob Brown's announcement of the sale in Robert's Ramblings), first one by White River was the March-April 2017 one.
Looks like at present WRP is still using the old NG&SL website, although if you click on the subscriptions tab it takes you to the WRP store website. WRP has a lot of magazines (RMC, Railfan and Railroad, Model Railroad News, plus a number of historical society magazines) they publish, so maybe just haven't gotten around to updating everything yet.
