Not the answer you were seeking, I can however provide some details as to era, probably early to mid 30's, the short pilot which became the system standard during this period and the small Pyle headlight, not the enormous Sacramento headlights that were in vouge a few years prior, no special paint/trim or raised lettering either.

also the tender is what appears to be oil fired. not the northeast?
The only coal burning 4-8-2's were those of the former El Paso & Southwestern which upon SP ownership in 1924 were re-classified as MT2's, converted to oil and transfered to the Pacific Lines .
