That was the rumor we heard out here.
Lots of people are frustrated because they feel this is a political rather than rational "solution" (they'd meet the FRA standards today that they are accused of failing).
They will be missed.
I'll be interested to see the results of the WSDOT sale of Talgo equipment that closed August 3rd. They say this will be officially publicized in early September but some on here may know some of the purchase 'early'. I dearly hope this is not the waste that the Turboliner III sale was!
