Yes and I noticed on my last Texas Eagle trip they even have a Sleeper Baggage car now where either the Family room or H room has been removed and replaced for luggage storage with shelves.    Not sure when those conversions started.

You can leave baggage on the rack downstairs; you will want to make sure that you can get it off quickly when you arrive at your destination.

The last time I rode on a Superliner I it had enough room for a decent sized backpack underneath along with the overhead bins. I don't know how that compares w the Superliner II.

Is there space under the sofa for carryon storage in a Superliner bedroom (not roomette)?  If not, are there hall racks for such baggage near the platform door as in Superliner coach?  We are having to travel to Lamy NM which does not have any baggage service at the station.
