Manmade and natural disasters plus covid19
Posted by blue streak 1 on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 1:55 PM

What happens to the  survivors and refugees running away from the disasters that will occurr this year.  This country may have a major earthquake, definitely tornadoes, and more than likely a major hurricane. This poster ignored "Sandy " until too late and will not this time.  How Amtrak would handle a major evacuation for one or more of these possible disasters and maintain social distance  seems impossible.  Though needs to be started.

Now on a global scale there will be disasters that happen.  Any thoughts ?

Modular three-high capsule-hotel/hostel-style 'bunk' interiors for all those diner and bag-dorm shells?

Lots and lots of plastic sheeting and duct tape?

I wonder if the FEMA engineers thought to keep the shackle attachment points in those boxcars at least 6' apart longitudinally.  They will have to fit urinal-stall-style partitions to repurpose the cars if not...
