Is there still a tourist (first class) train though Glacier National Park?
I don't believe there ever was. I think the tracks go on the southern edge, and not through:
However. It is a very pleasant trip. And, yes, a passenger train still does travel that track. And it does include first class.
I recommend staying at the Glacier Park Hotel for a few days, and taking some of the tours.

I've seen ads for a first class train with sky domes. This was a private operater maybe rolling along on Canadian tracks?
There are railroad tracks through Glacier National Park (Canada). That may be what you're thinking of.
To eliminate possible confusion, I will note that the park in Canada directly north of Glacier Park (US) is call Waterton Lakes National Park. The Canadian Glacier Park is farther north.
Of course, in the US, you can see a LOT of our Glacier Park from the train, as it travels the edge.
There are 2 trains through the Canadian Rockies.

The Rocky Mountaineer is more of a sightseeing train. It stops overnight about halfway through and passengers stay in hotels.
The VIA Rail train is a "traditional" passenger train and moves thoughout the night, so you miss some of the scenery.
The US train is the Empire Builder:

Muir Woods in California used to have a railroad through it as a tourist attraction but the tracks were torn up in the 1930's.
Alaska Railroad also has Dome Cars.
I believe the latest schedule does but the best scenery in daylight for Canadian passengers if the train is on-time or just several hours late. In both directions.
