Never too old to have a happy childhood!
Let's see, people riding on the roof, people riding in the vestibules, people damn near oozing out the windows.
No wonder when there's a train wreck over there the casualties number in the hundreds.
I won't say life is cheap in Bangladesh, I'm sure their lives are just as precious to them as ours are to us, but if you don't have safety regulations or don't enforce the ones you have, what do you expect?
I did find that dual-gauge trackage interesting.
I'm no expert, but I was impressed by the condition of the track. It appeared to be modern and in good condition. I always think of Bangladesh as a very poor nation.

Previous videos I have seen of those riding on top of the cars - they trains looked to be moving no more than 20 MPH - the roof toppers in this video seem like their trains are moving in the 50-60 MPH range. The second thing that springs to mind - how are fares collected, with any assurance that all passengers are actually paying the fare.
What amazes me about this video is the speed of the trains. If these had been electrified trains it could have been shot on Metro North in the Bronx with all the trash on the tracks.
