Sunset Limited is getting slammed in both directions. Track work between Del Rio and San Antonio was supposedly completed March 9th. Anyone have any information on the lengthy delays? Has been 2-8 hrs late into New Orleans more than once recently.

Apparently Number 2/422 experienced significant delays due to freight train traffic west of San Antonio. Number 22/422, which is the Texas Eagle (two cars), was 3 hours, 50 minutes leaving San Antonio yesterday - Sunday - because of the late arrival from the west.
