Nice UK site. But for someone in the US who is planning to go there and travel by train, you'll want to go to a site like http://www.eurailtickets.com/ or others in order to purchase Eurailpasses or single/multi country rail passes.

This is a multi page site with the lowdown on rail travel in almost any country. Includes lots of photos, schedules, fares and practical advice. Looking at the rich range of choices for train type, speed, frequency and fare structure even in "less developed" countries is bound to lead to some angst and envy for American readers. Sure makes me want to pick up and go.
