Santa Maria, CA

I'm looking for information as to whether there ever was a station at Santa Maria.  If so, is it still there (used as something else), and where in town was it located?

Even better yet, I'd really like to find some photos.

 Thanks,

Jeff

It would appear that the depot in Santa Maria CA is "now vacated" but located just east of Highway 135 (Broadway) and just north of Stowell Road in Santa Maria.  It is noted as being 9.3 miles east of Guadalupe on the map at this URL:

Here is a contact email address for the Santa Maria Valley Railroad:

According to this URL, the depot is located at the corner of McClelland and Jones in downtown Santa Maria.

Good luck!

Thanks; that's more info than had.

I emailed the SMVRR a while back, never got a reply.
