Hmm. This has all the looks of the single-cr monorail. What we Indy people know s the Clarian People Mover. This isn;t light rail cpable, but it is Intra-City possibility. And from that aspect, quite interesting.

It is difficult to imagine that idea being able to support the weight of a train. Even light rail vehicles weigh a lot more than that truck.

Very interesting.
Now, how does this system handle the typical load of a 747 or A360? Can it handle high speed freight? I see this as a possible (but dubious) competitor to the various HSR proposals being floated - all of which, to date, have exhibited the bouyancy of a lead brick.
If these people are willing to put THEIR money where their mouths are, I wish them well. If, OTOH, this is just another scheme to get the Federales to fund a 'feasability study' that can be skimmed...
Pardon my skepticism, but the local news just reported that still another bunch of lotus-eaters have proposed still another scheme for HSR between LA and Las Vegas - and want to get Federal funds for the necessary environmental studies...
Hey, guys. The Desert Xpress crowd has already been there and done that. Why reinvent the hexagonal wheel?

Wow- interesting! I wonder if it will stick? Interesting find!
