Southwest ChiefCan't be too many out there. Most if not all Superliners that are still in IV paint might be wreck damaged pending repair or scrapping.
Agreed--I haven't seen a Phase IV Superliner in a long time on 21/22. I'm not sure if there is a resource out there to track current paint scheme status.

All of the recent Southwest Chief consists I've seen have been full IVb Superliner consists. And surprisingly most of the baggage cars have also been in IVb as well (mostly the former Santa Fe Budd baggage cars).
My last trip on an Amtrak Superliner train (Sunset Limited last January) was also all IVb...both Sunset and Texas Eagle consist.
Why even the Superliner coaches I've seen in use on the Pacific Surfliner have all been in IVb (excluding the few California "Grove" series rebuilt cars that have Surfliner paint of course).
So at least in my area (Southern California) it seems to be all IVb Superliners in revenue service.

BlakeTyner Are you asking about which cars are in Phase IV but not IVb?

That's my question.
I'm trying to see what Superliners are still in the Phase IV paint. I know that 34029, 34005, 38063, and 39043 are Superliners still in the Phase IV paint. Does anyone know what Superliners are still in the Phase IV scheme and what type it is?
