But that wouldn't explain the factor of 10 between what some people deem fair for Amtrak to pay ($187.50) and DB's cost ($18).</p> <p>I find valuating the slots improper as long as there are only two slots per track and hour. Calculate the costs Amtrak really causes. That won't necessarily be $18. With that number I only wanted to show how weird (at least from my point of view) the $187.50 per train mile are.<br />Regards, Volker</p>
