Could have paid for a lot of new equipment. Wonder how much was stolen on the work at Chicago Union Station. Not If, just how much.

There it is.  For corruption to work in addition to a corruptor you need someone willing to be corrupted.  

The cynic in me says that corruption is heartbeat of the capitalist economic system.  Why settle for a reasonable company profit when you can twist a arm or two and turn a personal profit in addition.  Greed has no bounds.

  Having worked in Chicago ( for several years, and traveling from home and back and forth) before retiring; it rewarding to know that "The Chicago way" is still being practiced there,locally. Whistling

Just look at former Illinois Speaker Mike Madigan.  He literally was named by the federal government in the Comed indictment as Public Offical 1 that receivied bribes from the company.  An estimated 200 million dollars worth of crap.
