For me its Metra-South Shore South Bend local bus to Elkhart IN-Amtrak to Toledo. and if my old freinds come thru a cab ride on a short line for the final leg.
On Christmas I made a round trip from Glendale to Santa Barbara. Empty train both ways. No wait for my Bloody Marys!
