Bright line ha discovered that 3 of 5 deaths tresspassers had drugs in system.  Time for a national survey ?

It seems that drugs and ear buds are negating all the expenditure on signage, crossing separation, gates, bells, flashing lights, and public awareness ptograms. Solutions, anyone?

Electric fence the entire ROW?

Cushions on the front of locomotives?

A really long grapple arm...

Seriously though, railroads have been around for over 200 years and since the very beginning (even non-suicidal) people have been ignoring trains and paying the price.  I have a feeling that no matter what we do certain folks will find a way around it.  

But for some reason we would be hard-pressed to find someone who thinks walking down the middle of a busy street is a good idea.
