Caltrain says that although the two trains will use the same tracks, the electrification project is “independent” and high-speed rail’s use of the corridor will require a separate environmental review.

The first imperative is to keep the Bureaucrats occupied! If the state is this stupid with itself, imagine what it does to business.

Apparenlty like New York State, California also thinks its a Empire State and they have a monopoly and that most major buisnesses have to go thru them. Exspecialy import-export via the ports of NYNJ and LA. But now we have ports like Prince Rupert for CN and Ports like the Port of Norfolk VA.

A lot of this depends on how the law was written.  It may be similar to needing a new building permit to replace your gutters after you already got one to install a new fence.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
