There is a youtube train video somewhere in which they have the IC / Central of Georgia Seminole rolling into Birmingham, AL with two Pennsy E's and about 4 Pennsy Passenger cars in addition to the IC painted cars on the consist. The editor says they were leased to cover an equipment shortage. Interesting to see a predominantly Pennsy passenger train in the heart of Alabama though. If I find the video link again, will post it here.
Seeing PRR power and cars in the Deep South was probably a regular event since both power and cars on the "South Wind" ran through between Chicago and Florida.
