When Metro-North and Connecticut DOT purchased the M8 rail cars, they were supposed to also replace the aging Shoreline East fleet. Is that still going to happen?
although it might not be a valid comparison the difficulties the ACS-64s are having making voltage transitions from 12.5Kv to 25Kv and back could be applied to M-8s ?
