Action on the 'Lackawanna main line'
Posted by Mario_v on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 9:15 AM

Well, it's not yet NJT, nor the ye olde DL&W back from the tumb, but a special train between Scranton, Delaware Water Gap and return, with a 'smoke contest' in the middle, and also some nice Heavyweights, a NKP Car probably 'wishing to go to Chicago' and a fugitive LV Observation 'solarium'. I dunno, but the only thing missing is really some NJT consists. Will they ever be on the company of these special trains soon?

I rode that train at the NRHS Scranton convention 3 years ago, but I had not seen the video.  Thanks for the memory.

Ah, some fine examples of Don Colangelo "The ALCO Doctor's"  work!

Thanks for posting!  And don't they look GOOD?
