Who is the most stupid in this story? The drunk on the train or the people that believe the threat?

This is the post 9/11 era.  Any and every threat is taken for real....no matter if the threat is 'believed' or not....leave a package in a station, airport or mall and see how quickly the facility takes actions vs. the package....dogs, bomb squad, evacuation and a host of other defenses.  In the world of instant communication to disregard a threat could publicise your name worldwide for all the wrong reasons.

9/11 was almost ten years ago.  How long should we keep hiding under our beds?

There was no bomb threat on 911. There was no threat at all. Why does believing a drunk increase security? I'll tell you why, because the law has no clue what else to do.  They are grasping at straws.

So you don't respond to the threat.....and it goes BOOM!  How do you explain that in the world of the 24/7/365 news cycle.

There are more than enough nuts in the world today that will try to carry out their outrageous blatherings.
