Cool! Very cool!!! Now that we will be able to take our guns along, why not "Fido"? Easily do-able. Maybe PETA would chip in for 'Kennel Keeps' in the baggage car. Of course, yappy barking dogs would be thrown out in North Dakota at night.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. It reminds of the ACL's advertisements forty or so years ago in which the point was made that you did not have to worry about a detour by way of Cuba when going from New York to Florida if you rode their trains.

... and the metal detectors and sky marshals couldn't stop it. What stopped it was the Cuban boat people. They brought the news that all those people who had hijacked a ride to Cuba were in prison in Cuba. If we had not banned all contact with Cuba they would have known that much sooner.
You have to wonder about the mind that thinks he will be welcomed home in his hijacked plane. Duh

I read about this in Trains News wire. A great idea. From what I hear about riding planes today, I think this is a very clever idea and it gets the point across. Less hassle and great scenery. As I've always said, "if you've seen one cloud, you've seen them all". Not really, they are pretty the first time or two, but not like the view from a train window. GO AMTRAK.
