Station Diagrams:
Posted by blue streak 1 on Thursday, February 5, 2009 4:47 PM

I am working on a lengthy post and need several of present day stations'  track layouts in scale of stations that are originating and terminating stations. Especially Wash and Chicago but are looking for all stations. Sources either on the internet or in current publications are requested.

"Passenger Trains and Terminals" has diagrams to go with most of the US terminals that are covered.  I lost my copy.

Boardman Publishing put out a Track & Signal Cyclopedia that also may have what you are looking for with a little research.  The 1911 Edition included a lot on the North Western (Chicago Passenger) Terminal - a track diagram and photos & drawings of track and signal components.

Harvey:  Thanks - so far haven't located the book . If anyone has a source let me know. I really am looking for contemporary diagrams as for example I know WASH has changed over the years.
