On its way to being another flop just like the People Mover.  How can you believe the stuff that is coming from the mouth of the guy who runs the thing?  The large decrease in ridership tells the truth.  My question, how many people have been mugged or mudered on the Q Line?

The people mover remains incomplete as to it's original plans.   If it was completed it would be a larger success than it is.

Agree with what was stated in the article that the street car will take some time to build ridership, less so if it expands because currently a 4 mile system is pretty tiny and highly specialized.   Further the section of Woodward it operates on is not very densely developed yet with business or destinations to visit.    That will take time as well.

I like how Kansas City funds their better, they assess businesses along the line a special tax to pay for operations.    No direct taxpayer funds are involved.    In KC most of the businesses pay the tarriff and have responded favorably to the initial system as boosting their patronage and reach of their businesses.

First of all, nobody has been murdered.  You obviously haven't been to downtown Detroit lately.  It has a ways to go, but it's pretty lively (and safe).  Of course ridership is going to go down once the initial free rides are over with.  Duh!
