The moral of the story is don't let your electronics do all your thinking for you.  Electronics make good servants but VERY poor masters, and once you let them enslave you you'll have a hard time breaking loose. 

This is why I think the current versions of cell phones, i.e Smartphones and iPhones with all their apps that discourage personal initiative and responsibility are so insidious.  OK, that's the dinosaur in me speaking, but I don't have one of those things and don't need one, I get along just fine without 'em.

I do have a cell phone, I use it to make phone calls.  That's it.

My guess is that it relates to cars that use the road driving faster then the residents in the area like. They see the truck issue as a good time to bring up their other complaints. I saw it all the time in my past line of work.
