Boeing actuall built a test track outside the south side of PHL airport including some CAT.
Overmod Buslist The Boeing LRVs were built at the Boeing Vertol plant in Philadelphia. IIRC the car bodies came from Portugal. I thought the body frames came from a Japanese company. Still trying to figure out how they had so much trouble with one articulated join

The plant is actually in Ridley Park (which is near Philadelphia, but not quite "in" it), near the airport and 95. (It is notable for starting out as a planned community developed by a principal in the pre-PRR PW&B) I was horrified to realize that it seems just yesterday I was in there watching the first prototypes being finished, and now not only are they all essentially gone, they've been gone for years...

On a different, but related subject: We need to start a fund to restore, or at least cocoon, the SOAC cars. They deserve better than they're getting, and it's sad to see how ancient the future got in much shorter order than I can believe... problem is, it's like the situation with the Leyland Railbus; most of the people who go to trolley museums just don't care about those things.
From what I can gather they were made at a helicopter plant?
CandOforprogress2 Watched the new Boing Commercial and remined me of the Boston Boings light rail cars where were they made?
