What a world, what a world...
Firelock76Where's Dorothy and her water bucket when you need her?
I was going to ask "Is she a good witch or a bad witch?" but if she's causing a problem obviously she's a bad witch.
Where's Dorothy and her water bucket when you need her?
Yes. One of our monks was (is/) a exorcist. I do not know if he still holds that office.
Things like that are kept secret.

Brother Lion does the Cathlic Church still have exorcists on there payroll? We had one in our diocese but he retired but I recall Pope Benidict had called for the practice again. see-
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that: "Jesus performed exorcisms and from him the Church has received the power and office of exorcizing".[7] The 1917 Code of Canon Law explicitly stated that the solemn exorcism of a person believed to be possessed may only be performed with the express authorisation of the local bishop or equivalent; 'this permission is only to be given to priests of the highest repute'. The revised 1983 Code of Canon Law similarly stated that the bishop is 'to give this permission only to a presbyter who has piety, knowledge, prudence, and integrity of life.'[9]
