It would be no problem at all to run a modified N direct to the Howard Beach JFK station if the reverse-Chryties connection were built between the BMT Broadway and F and M lines at Broadway-Delancey-Lafayette

Extending the N would cause no more disruption and be far more sensible.  I hope common sense prevails.

Yes, the N would require more money and temporary disruption, but wouldn't a one-seat ride be worth it?

New York's Gov Cuomo is proposing a rail link to Laguardia airport in New York City. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/21/nyregion/cuomo-proposes-train-link-to-la-guardia-airport.html The proposed link would go down the Grand Central Parkway and connect to the subway at the Willets Pt / Citi Field station. A thought it would take a little more effort to also have part of the line continue down the Grand Central to the Van Wyck thence to connect with the Airlink to JFK airport. Thx IGN
