I am tired of walking blocks or taking a cab to Milleniuam Station. There is a race and social econmic  class seperation of the South Side Train Riders and the Union Station riders. This would unite the city. BTW did Randolf Street Station have a head house or has it always been in a dingy basement?

We would have to turn the IC/SS trains West through a new tunnel and have a new undergrown station. Oh year and about 5 billion dollersIck!

Actually, Randolph and Van Buren Street stations are closer to the Loop Business District than Union Station.  Both stations have been located below street level (but above natural ground level) at least since the 1926 electrification.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
