Although in the past it appears that NJ Transit cannot handle the snows in the past so what will happen now. Bus stops are becoming very hazaedous.

This storm has had some interesting items.
1. The state of Georgia having learned from 2 weeks ago essentially shut down everything in the state even closely to the predicted storm. Only thing operating was MARTA trains on a weekend schedule on Atlanta with no bus operation.
2. On the other hand SC and NC did not learn from Atlanta's and Georgia experience and had snow jams every where. Columbia , Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Cary and a host of smaller cities all jammed up from snow covering ice.
3. There has been no indication of how the light rail in Charlotte fared but bus service was suspended Wednesday
4. Amtrak suspended all service thru the storm area.
5. Have not found out how Richmond and Norfolk have planned and delt with this storm.
6. Another post states VRE & MARC suspended all service.
7. WMATA ?
8. Am awaiting how SEPTA, NJ Transit, LIRR< MNRR, and NYC TA are dealing with this storm.
