What difference, if any, is there between the depth of this tunnel and the depth proposed for the now-dead ARC tunnel under Manhattan?

Good question...but they are about a mile or so apart so whatever junk has to be contended with are different and at different levels.  I'm guessing the LIRR at GCT is much deeper since it is under the lower level there...I think the upper level is lower than NYP's track, so deep with several "er" 's.
