I remeber that "A" was the Conner Street Line, "D" Dixwell Avenue,with "DD" a cut-back service, F1 Branford, and F@ Momaugen, But someone please tell me which street this is on and which route "M"?

Thanks for the shots David, looks like it was a fun ride and a good time was had by all.

I'm fascinated by that great-looking Forbes Avenue diner, any idea if it's still around?  They just don't make 'em like that anymore!

No, I just looked, it's not there anymore, it was replaced in 1957 with a stainless steel Fodero diner, which isn't there anymore either, it's now in Salisbury.  There's a Dunkin' Donuts on the site now.  I don't have a problem with DD but I'd prefer that neat old diner!

And that's a nice picture of your parents.  I can see in their faces how proud they were of that fine young son they were raising.

Great photos for sure. Didn't the Connecticut company run every streetcar system in the state?
