In fifty years they are carrying almost 1/4 of a million passengers daily. Amazing system.

The long term plan is to electrify the Lakeshore line, then probably the others. They seem to be getting serious about it. Also, all day service on all the lines especially the one to Kitchener. Possibly extending some lines, there have been rumours of the line to Oshawa extending to Bowmanville. Maybe service to Peterborough some day.
