New York's Straining Subway Struggles to Modernize Signals

   If a new Penn Station is ever a reality, if the new Hudson tubes are ever built, and if the subways in New York ever get the rebuild they so desperately deserve, the New York Times will have been the driving force.  Here's an interesting story in today's New York Times:
