Mertolinx "intent to cancil"?
Posted by BOB WITHORN on Monday, November 7, 2016 6:14 AM

Part of Metrolinx spokesperson Anne Marie Aikins' statement: "Metrolinx has issued a formal notice of intent to terminate our LRV contract with Bombardier. To clarify: we have not cancelled our order nor our contract with Bombardier. We filed a notice of intention to terminate which does not mean it is cancelled or may be cancelled.

So saying "we intend to terminate our LRV contract"  doesn't mean we're intending to cancil our LRV contract?  Must have translated funny from French or smoething.  That's like saying - ' No, I don't want anymore soup, but I might, so maybe I'll change my mind, but I don't want anymore, maybe'.

This set of circumstances may exist due to wording in the existing contract.  It will probably signal the start of negotiations over some bone of contention in that contract.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
