Detroits Crazy Bus Drivers

Rode both SMART and DDOT. The drivers are fast and quick and use defensive driving as a noun and a verb. I also noticed the bcak seat was quite warm. Many of Ds roads are wide enough for Bus Rapid Transit because they were designed in the first place for streetcars. Detroit was the only place where PCC cars and a expressway shared the same right of way. The Mile roads have wide median strips that could accmidate light rail.

Aw c'mon man, when I saw the heading "Detroits Crazy Bus Drivers"  I was expecting a bunch of great horror stories, you know, a wake of dead pedestrians behind the bus, short-cuts through store fronts, drag racing other buses, that kind of stuff.

Man, am I disappointed!

Anyway, I like that name "Bonaventure", sounds like the name of a fine fighting ship from the Age of Sail.  "HMS Bonaventure", the "Terror of the Bay of Biscay"!   "Napoleon trembled at the sound of her name!"

Sorry, I watched "Master and Commander"  last night.   Great movie!
