I couldn't find here where we left of on the idea of catenary over the PATH tracks...so I'm starting a new thread.  Simply, I looked on Friday while riding NJT into Hoboken and saw the catenary strung over the westbound PATH track.  However, it stopped at a point just west of where the track ducks under the Corridor.  It is not connected to a power source and it is not truncated but just ends.  I know I saw it over the track while riding from Sec. Jct. to Newark Penn but that it did not continue beyond Harrison Station and that the NJT diagrams do not indicated it being in place in use and even my pictures at Harrison show it is not there.  So, I have concluded that 1) it was once in place and thus used...I mean even my memory back to the 50's indicates that; 2) it is there but not connected so not in use; and 3) that since it is not in use nor connected to a source, it won't show up on diagrams.  Anybody who rides the Corridor or NJT to Hoboken on the Morristown line can double check me on this please.  But I did see it Friday, and did a double take, I blinked my eyes and almost put my head through the glass window to be sure I saw what I was seeing.

As I noted on the earlier thread, during WWII there was a gap between the platform and Joint-Service Newark-Hudson Terminal PRR-H&M cars at Harrison, and regular railroad equpment could use those platform tracks if requried.   This was changed when concrete replaced the wood platforms, or possibly later.
