Your point is well taken. All the more reason why I don't understand the enthusiasm, in the face of higher capital costs, for systems like Innorail as in Bourdeaux.

While I consider myself a juice fan, apparently I'm not hard core.  Saying that people will just get used to the wires, is not much of a selling point to the general public, as is evident by Innorail and other hidden wire products coming on the market.  Like any emerging technology, time will tell if it is to become commercially viable.  It has the potential to bring traction to places never considered likely.
