<p>The start date for the Leander to Austin commuter rail or light rail line has been postponed from the last quarter of 2008 to March 2009.  Capital Metro will not be able to complete all the planned stations, track work, and signal up grades for a December 2008 start up.  The original plan was to begin operations during March 2008.  Assuming there are no further delays, the project will be a year late in getting started.</p><p> </p>
