    BNSF was still using two 8-40BW locomotives 507 & 508 in Sparks NV up until just a couple of months ago. This photo was taken Dec. 23, 2011. . They have since been replaced by two GP60M #157 & #162.

    I was checking out the BNSF yard at Willmar MN today and noticed that there are about 24 locomotives (numbered 8100 series) that are wrapped in white plastic. I know they have been there for at least two months. Does anyone know what is up with these?

    The DASH 9-44CW's Auxiliary cabinet or box, behind the conductors side is smaller than an AC4400's. The DASH 9, shown above has the smaller cabinet (to the right of the #4187) The AC4400CW, shown above, has a larger one. (Next tothe #5676) and it doesn't have the big square vent on it...
